6/9/08 ~ Day 52 ~ Clutter busting ~

Rate this Entry
Day 52 ~

I am feeling the need to do some clutter busting!

I am off work tomorrow, with the exception of teaching a yoga class at 6:45pm - so basically the whole day!

My house is in disaray since going to MN last weekend & it's driving me nuts! (not that it's EVER even close to perfect....)

I have a bunch of laundry & misc. things to put back where they belong - not to mention a leaning stack of mail/junk mail to go through - before it tips over - preferably....

I think eating raw gives my the energy/desire to "want" to be more organized. I am an admitted pack rat......but, I don't want to be.....anymore.....

It's hard to come home to piles of stuff & even think about a place to start - it can be very overwhelming & sometimes downright debilitating.

I know I'm not the only one here.....

By simplifying & purifying my diet - that desire is starting to flow over into other aspects of my life - thankfully.

Tonight I'm going to make the rawritos that I never got around to, because I felt icky & all I wanted to do was nap - honoring my needs - & that's all I did on my last day off. Oh, and read the blogs of my buds -

Sometimes you just NEED some quiet time to do simply - NOTHING - and to be OK with that!

I was.

Now however, I have a little bug up my butt that says "Get MOVING"!!!

So, that's what's on the agenda.

My throat is still icky, but I will survive.....;)

I hope everyone has a wonderful night~monk~

"by simplifying and purifying my diet - that desire is starting to overflow into other aspects of my life" I am finding this to be true in my life too. Each day brings changes in how we feel. And now you feel like doing things! Wonderful monk! Hope your throat gets all better soon.:)

Thanks for your comments on my blog monk - I just love them. That's great that you made the eye pillows. And yes, I weeded all my garden this a.m. and wore a tank top - ee gad! I am going to have a tan this summer. Drank more of my greens with more pineapple. Yum. xxoo

Hi there islesgirl! A tank top & a tan! Good for you - I haven't even wore shorts for years - maybe this year, huh? I agree that each day brings changes in how we feel - so far a majority of them being positive! I'm eating a big bowl of watermelon right now - it feels good on my throat~Great hearing from you as well!~

I didn't say I was brave enough to wear shorts - no not yet anyway. I just wore my baggy black pants - best for covering up my big legs and for getting muddy in the garden! But we will wear them! Right? Right!

Eating raw foods seems to make us want to live in harmony with our surroundings. Fortunately, it also provides the energy to make us take action on those desires. It feels so good when it's done. Have fun with it!

So true Rawknitster - "harmony" sounds divine. I will do it in baby steps....so I don't get overwhelmed. Thank you all for your support!~
