First day 100% raw. Green smoothie for bfast and big salad for dinner with nuts and coconut and dates for dessert/snack. ~227

98% raw, similar food to yesterday but used bottled vegan poppy seed dressing on salad.
3 Tuesday, 3/13/07
100% raw. Same menu. Made yummy cucumber-avocado dressing with dill and basil. Edema in legs essentially gone. Had beginning of migraine left over from the night, took one Excedrin and it went away. Green poo.
4 Wednesday, 3/14/07
100% raw. Morning Edema still minimal. Doubled fruit in morning green drink and added more greens (2 med apples, 2 bananas, lemon wedge, 2 kale leaves, 2 hand-fulls of parsley and a hand full of spinach). Not really had any munchies-cravings like before. Big salad after work with leftover dressing from yesterday. Zucchini pesto spaghetti for dinner. Some mild edema by bedtime.
5 Thursday, 3/15/07
100% raw. No morning edema. Green smoothie (1 pear, 1 banana, lemon, 2 kale leaves, hand full of parsley, hand full of spinach). Zucchini pesto spaghetti for lunch. Migraine coming on. Took one Excedrin with lunch. Stomach feels a bit queasy/burpy. Very mild edema by afternoon. A bit tired. Noticed my face is less puffy last few days. Salad w/leftover cucumber dressing and 4 olives for dinner followed an hour later by zucchini spaghetti with marinara sauce and pecan meat balls. -226
6 Friday, 3/16/07
100% raw. Mild evening edema last night and a tiny bit this morning. Eyes a bit bloodshot. Green smoothie (½ small pineapple, 1 banana, handfull parsley, 1 leaf kale, 3-4 handfulls of spinach.) Zucchini pasta w/leftover pesto & marinara/meatball sauce. 3-4 dates w/a couple of macadamia nuts. Green poo still-just a little and a bit strained. Not pooping nearly as much/as quickly as before.

100% raw. Green smoothie for bfast (½ pineapple, 1 banana, ½ blender of spinach). Poo not as green. No cravings for cooked foods at all. Olives taste very salty to me, dates very sweet. Compared with the prior salami/cake frosting type salt/sugar cravings, that’s a huge deal. I think my adrenal glands are pleased. Taco’s for dinner (walnut taco ‘meat’, guac and shredded iceberg lettuce on romaine leaves)

100% raw. Green smoothie for b-fast (2 oranges, banana, lots of spinach), green smoothie for lunch (seed grapes, banana, spinach), taco’s for dinner. Stinky little poops and some straining.

100% raw. Green smoothie for b-fast (grapes, banana, spinach). Avocado-spinach dip with 1 celery hearts bunch and sweet peppers for dinner.
11 Wednesday, 3/21/07
100% raw. Woke up very tired. Eyes a bit bloodshot. Fruit smoothie for b-fast (1/3 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 banana). Still ’straining’ with little poops. Cucumber-avocado-dill dip w/sweet peppers. Leftover taco mix. 2-3 dates. Moderate edema.

100% raw. Eyes a bit puffy and some mild edema. Green smoothie for b-fast (grapes, banana, arugala, spinach, kale). Made a blended salad which tasted awful so it got thrown away. Big salad with self-made creamy poppy seed dressing, 1 avocado. 2-3 dates for dessert.
Friday, 3/23/07 -13
100% raw. Green smoothie (spinach, apple, banana). Morning poo strained a bit but okay. Breast have been sore the last couple of days (without bra), and about a week ago developed a rash between them that lasted overnight. Medium salad with poppy seed dressing for lunch. Zucchini spaghetti with marinara and some ‘meat’ filling. Banana/pineapple/coconut ‘ice cream’.
100% raw. Don’t remember what was for bfast. Had turnip ravioli w marinara sauce for lunch (meh), big salad for dinner and semi-frozen fruit smoothie for dessert (2 banana, 1 oranges, pineapple, dates, coconut).
100% raw. Green smoothie (3 oranges, 1 banana, spinach, parsley) for b-fast, big salad for lunch. Napped in the afternoon after taking Mary for a walk along the river (2-3 mi??). Made more creamy poppy seed salad dressing (too much onion but okay) but didn’t feel like salad. Remainder of frozen fruit smoothie from last night for dessert. Wanting (not craving so psychological not physical) steak or meat after getting food for Mary. Very mildly tempted but nothing noteworthy. Questioning the lack of weight loss, but satisfied with the glow and allowing of myself to eat and not feel guilty. ~221.5
100% raw. Woke up with beginning of cold sore on upper lip. Put some abrevia on and iced it throughout the day. Probably from too much pineapple. Green smoothie for b-fast (3 apples, 1 banana, spinach). Some small stinky floaty poo’s, greenish tinted. Other good parts of raw; no headaches (except on the first couple of days which went away with 1 Excedrin), no back/shoulder aches, and yesterday was the first day I felt like I needed a nap. Pizza pate (macadamia nuts, sundried tomatoes, basil) on zucchini strips and sweet peppers with a side of celery for dinner. ~221.5

Annoyed yesterday about the lack of weight loss. Honestly the next step up is not eating at all. Green smoothie for b-fast (1 apple, 1 banana, spinach). Refried bean tacos with guac and salsa for dinner. Moderate edema by bedtime. 15 min yoga.

100% raw. Teeny bit of morning edema. Good poops last night and this morning (possibly from yoga inversions). Frequency has be much less than when cooked. Green smoothie for bfast (apple, banana, spinach). Celery and pizza pate for lunch. Taco salad for dinner. Carrot cake for dessert. Moderate edema at night. ~220.5
Saturday 03/31/07- 21
Still moderate edema in morning, possibly more than last night. Slice of carrot cake for bfast. Went to Oly, got lots of veggies at Costco. First time out to lunch with faith. Asian deli had nothing for me to eat (I did finish the bean sprouts), so caved in after and got some Soprasetta. Tasted okay at the time but couldn’t eat very much. Felt my chin get puffy (psychological?) and tried to purge it but just made my throat sore. More carrot cake for dinner.

100% raw. Green smoothie for bfast. Still craving salami. Fajitas w/avocado and cashew sour cream for dinner. Very tired by evening, slight headache.
100% raw. Green smoothie for b-fast. Mixed up the coconut butter, tastes really good. Fajita salad for dinner. Date with coconut butter for dessert. Fairly bad edema by bedtime. Tired.
100% raw. Noticeable edema in the morning. Still tired, some difficulty waking up. Puffy face/eyes and dark circles under eyes. Odd pink spots on each cheek. Green smoothie for bfast. Fajitas for dinner w/avocado. 3 dates w/coconut butter and last piece of carrot cake for dessert. Took Mary for a walk.
100% raw. Still noticeable edema in the morning. Breakouts on face and neck. Green smoothie for bfast/lunch. (2 apple, banana, celery, flax seed, ginger, spinach). Zucchini spaghetti with sun-dried tomato sauce and marinated mushrooms. Some dulse pieces for snack (craving salty). Headache in the evening after work. Took one excedrin.
100% raw. Bad edema last night, esp in my right leg. Still noticeable this morning. Felt fatter than usual yesterday and today. Eyes a bit bloodshot this morning and difficulty waking up. Also difficulty falling asleep (2-3am). Frustrated that nothing seems to be different, especially with the leg edema. Felt sad/desperate that I’m not losing weight. I eat better than most everyone I know and nothing is changing--it’s not like I just have a few pound to get rid of…100lbs is substantial.
