Feeling good

I made it through the day without a problem. I didn't have a craving at all.

There was a really stressful situation last night with my ex and usually I'd turn to "comfort" foods, this time I had a friend at my house helping me pack and I was able to get out my frustration by talking to her and then by staying busy packing until way too late!

I am going hiking this weekend too. I need the time just for me to be outside and getting exercise too! I can't wait.

When I start a new challenge I weigh alot in the beginning. I lost 4 pounds. Yes I'm sure it's all water weight, but just to see the scale go down is nice.

I'll get in a weekly routine of weighing instead of daily. But it's just astounding in the beginning to see how fast it falls off.

I didn't eat nearly as much as I wanted to, but at the end of the day I was really happy with myself for the choices I made.

My work wants to have a potluck and they asked for ideas. I said fruits/veggies and looked to the woman that usually brings them. She said nope too expensive. It's all cheap now on for me.

So, I"ll bring my own food and indulge in them!

Oh and if anyone is reading this. Where's the best place to get boxes for moving free?! I've having such a horrible time finding any. The stores all crush them now and if I get boxes its usually only about 6.

Hi veggie, I used to get boxes early in the a.m. at the liquor commission, when they opened. But I am in Ontario, Canada, and haven't any idea if they even still give them away. Just an idea. I also went to the large grocery stores - like Zehrs here, early in the a.m. when they had put them outside after stocking shelves overnight. You are doing wonderfully and I hope you have a lovely hiking weekend!
