Green Smoothie Day

Okay, I'm ready to admit I was wrong about green smoothies. Since everyone seems to like them, I was inspired to give it another chance. Instead of putting my apple, kale, and lime into the juicer, I put it in the blender. Added some flax oil and water. Drank (chewed?) about a cup. Wasn't really sure about finishing the rest...added some green powder, blue-green algae, MSM, and finished it off. I'm used to drinking the green supplements in water, so putting it in the smoothie was an improvement. I must say I felt pretty good for the rest of the day. For dinner I had some flax crackers, a salad with pear, beet, walnuts, and honey mustard dressing (same as yesterday). I didn't eat much of the salad, just wasn't hungry.
I'm going to have a green smoothie for lunch again tomorrow! However I draw the line at adding bananas or berries. If it's not foods I can eat together, or juice together, then I don't think I can blend it together. I'll probably end up eating those words, too.
