Well now I know why I NEED to continue to eat a raw foods lifestyle. After my slip up yesterday- twice (with the pancakes) I FELT SO SICK last night and this morning. My stomach is turning and I feel nauseous.. I had major gas and gas pains, and I am burping up nasty burps. Lovely, I know.
I think that after eating so clean, my stomach is not used to the rif raf I threw in there. Its either that, or maybe I really am allergic to wheat and I never noticed it.
This morning my stomach hurts badly and I have a runny nose. AND I noticed that my 4 year old also has a runny nose too. So definetely we are having some sort of response to the wheat because I have been feeding my girls mostly raw and gluten free/ dairy free before yesterday.
Eating so clean and raw -and then eating cooked foods really showed me how awful I feel eating it- how it just gets putrified in my stomach BLAH!!
The good news is my new book "Green for Life" came in the mail yesterday and I already have read half the book! I am getting so motivated reading this. I am so far fascinated with greens and I plan to religiously make my GS - because I believe that this is where I messed up yesterday- didn't have the green smoothie- bam- i get cravings for cooked foods.
But....TODAY IS A NEW DAY!!!!!! I'm off to make yummy smoothies for me and my girls.
