Day 5 - eating the rainbow...
Today is going really well so far. I've already had 3 glasses of water, plus the water I used for my green breakfast smoothie (grapes, banana, strawberries, pineapple, spinach). about 8 oz in water, making about 16 oz smoothie (actually made more, but shared it w/ daughter).
My son lost his first tooth today, so that was exciting!![]()
I feel good - I had a great evening w/ husband last night, slept well, woke up feeling happy and ready for raw day #5. (you know, as much as I hate the web abbreviations, ds, dd, dh - I am starting to understand WHY we use them!)
Snack - 1/4 cup cashews (approx - a handful), 3 mejool dates (the last 3 - I need to get to the store)
Lunch - big RAINBOW salad: red - grape tomatoes, orange - carrots, yellow - bell pepper, green - baby romaine, blue - ok, so no blue..., purple - red onion. I ran out of avocado, so it's not as tasty as normal, but still good! Very satisfying. I also cut up some sun-dried tomato stuffed green olives for an extra zing, topped it w/ a little olive oil and some lime, salt and pepper. Deeeee-lish!
I'm teaching yoga tonight, so i'll get my exercise there (sort of). I'll at least do all the sun sal w/ the class so I can say I did something! We're buying an elliptical soon and I can't wait! I miss doing cardio.
