Pre starting....
Okay. Here goes. My details... I am 27 years old. I am married with 3 beautiful children ages 2, 5, and 7. I am the only one in my family doing this. I don't know if I ever could have done it without the support and encouragment of one of my best friends. We are commited to going this together. A 30 day challenge. I'm so excited to see what happens. I'm excited about losing weight of course. But the idea of living an arthritis free life is unfreakenbelievable! I live with pain every day of my life. I'm so used to it, when I'm not in terrible pain, I feel like I'm having a good day. I have no energy, and am often depressed. Which is sad, because I truely have a wonderful life. Okay, as hard as this is I'm going to be brutally honest.
My starting weight: 184 lbs
Height: 5'1" (61 inches)
My Measurements: Bust-43 inches
Waist-40 inches
Hips-47 inches
Thigh-26 inches (OMG, some skinny people have waists smaller than my thighs?)
Biceps-13 1/2 inches
Okay. There it is. Now let's see how motivating that is! I calculated my BMI. I know alot of people say that # isn't as important as other things. But I felt I needed to know. It's funny. Because I'm so short, I've always seemed to have a "high" BMI even when I felt that I looked "good" at 135 lbs. A list of things I will be happy to get rid of?
PAIN
Asthma
Allergies
Excess weight
Dull looking skin
Dark circles under eyes
Depression
I'm sure I could come up with more. But I suppose that's good enough for now. Wish me luck. My hubby has promised to be supportive. My family is even excited. Here goes. Starting T minus 4 days. (March 1st) We needed time to shop and prepare. I'm so excited.
