Figured its time for an update but itís a lot of little things right now. Mostly getting my head back to other stuff after the restaurant opening.
Iím still there a lot but Iíve been back on the computer, writing some articles, fiddling with all the sites, alissacohen.com (new shopping cart and layout), changing around the Grezzo site and getting that done (lots of new press stuff and the Boston Globe just did a great article that will be out in April)Ö.stuff like thatÖ oh, just made labels yesterday for our new brownies, check them out, they are AMAZING!!!!!
One of my students just wrote a book that I did a little forward for. Itís in German so thatís exciting! Another one of my students from the England class, Flora Papadopoulou, just wrote Mediterranean goes raw. Itís so incredible to see how fantastic the 5 day certification graduates are doing!
We just had the March class a few weeks ago and have another one coming up in may. Itís already almost full with 25 people so I think Iíll have to add another one in June because Iíll be away for most of the summer. We were going to stop doing these 5 day trainings but they are just too good to stop. Elaine (my co-teacher) is so amazing in helping to facilitate a life change in every person who comes to these. They are just too much fun for us and watching people go through such a huge life transformation in just 5 days is just so remarkable.
Iíve also got to hire another shipper and some more people. If youíre interested in a fun job and live close, write me. It would be a part time shipper, some light computer work, etcÖ
So lots of little details that have been taking up most of the last couple of weeks.
The big project on the horizon is that we are going to franchise the restaurant! I know, I said I was going to relax for a bitÖ its just not in the stars...Ill be sending out information about this shortly. Lots of lawyer meetings to sit through and lots of painstaking details but we are moving quickly on it.
