What am I going to do??

Rate this Entry
I have started and stopped so many times. I don't know where to begin... Only that I am at the end of my rope. I feel like my body is giving up on me. I have probably 150 lbs to lose. I am tired all the time..
I gave up on raw food and then sought out the eat only when you are hungry programs. Which I still believe is important- why eat if you are not hungry. But it all comes back to- what is the most healthiest food for me to eat.. If I were to make 3 dishes that had equal nutrient levels- 1 being a meat based diet, one being a vegetarian dish and the last being a raw vegan dish- which would be the most healthiest to consume? Or if I had 3 choices: a piece of chicken, a cup of cottage cheese or a couple of slices of watermelon- which would be the healthiest choice? The raw vegan food kept coming to my mind last night.
I have to do this for me- which means cooking regular but as healthy as I can food for the rest of the family. I will enlist the help of my daughter for this. I can't be bothered to be making raw food dishes for 8 people right now- I am in the worst shape- it starts with me first.

Hi Debra. Gosh I wonder why you are so tired?!! Running your own business, caring for a huge family and trying to keep up with your racing thoughts? You sound very tired indeed and just frazzled. I know those feelings so well although my circumstances are entirely different. You can do this. Try to keep it as simple as possible and try to get Alissa's book and DVD if you haven't already. And..

I had a quick peek at your beautiful shawls. I, too, loved the blue one - blue like the ocean. It must be lovely to live in California. Is it easier to get fresh produce there? (than here in central Canada). I am trying to keep it simpler and am starting today on Alissa's week-by-week plan as a foundation for my RAW life.xxxxoooo

Actually right now we are in Nevada.. Produce is quite pricey here. We are moving back to CA though later this summer.
We are a homeschooling family aside from everything else so I am quite frazzled and tired. and my dh is a recovering alcoholic only recent so it was one rough year. I am tired.. but I know that how I am eating is making it worse. I just feel it. My body is revolting against me :-) I have the book and dvd I need to watch them again.. thanks 4 the compliments on my shawls.
