Back for the Attack!
Yes, it is pitiful. I haven't blogged since January. A lot of family stuff was happening and I just put raw food on the back burner. During that time, I learned a lot about what foods make my body happy and what foods make me miserable.
Raw food makes me feel light, have energy, be happy for my hubby and kids, etc.
Cooked food, for the most part DOESN'T.
I really, really want to make this raw challenge work this time! I am on day #2 for me, as I totally forgot it had turned to May.
I have been able to be 100%, even in the midst of lots of stress and running around. I credit raw foods for helping me through.
Tomorrow, my husband leaves for 3 months of military training and I will be left with 4 kids 6 yrs. old and under. I will have help here and there, but not the dependable help of my husband each day.
I need to keep with this challenge for my kids, as well as my husband. My kids need a mama who has energy enough for them each day and doesn't snap at them. My husband needs a wife who sounds cheerful when he calls and has a "can do" attitude.
I am so glad there is this wonderful, warm community that I can visit each day to help raise my spirits and guide me on this journey. :)
