The card my aunt sent (inspiration)

Rate this Entry
I know God walks beside you
as you go through this difficult time...
And though your path isn't an easy one,
you've been given what it takes to keep going...
You have courage,
an optimism that inspires everyone,
and an incredible faith.
So as you make the journey,
keep on in that courage
and remember that I'm with you in spirit.
You're in everyone's prayers
because we miss you
and want the best for you.
May the Lord keep you close
and brighten each day
as you're surrounded
by the wishes and prayers
of all the people
who care about you so much.

Hi Lynn. That was a very comforting card from your aunt indeed. Obviously she thinks highly of you. I think you are doing so well with your food. I'm sure that it is going to help you beat the cancer. Would you mind telling me what you eat or drink when you take your breaks in field service? I had a bottle of orange juice yesterday. We don't have much choice at Tim Hortons.:) I will try snowdrop's ranch dressing too.

Islesgirl, The couple of times that I've gone on a break with the friends, I just passed, and didn't eat anything. I'm in a Spanish speaking congregation. Many of the brothers and sisters are poor with large families, and are not in the habit of eating out. They are also very zealous, and once they get out in service, don't usually like to stop. I have taken food with me: a banana, or dried fruit, a bag of nuts, and a bottle of water.

Islegirl, Thanks for the words of encouragement. StarFire, you're always so positive! Both of you have given me a big boost. ((hugs))~Lynn
