so busy uncooking in my kitchen.
new fall dishes that eat as good as they look...

the beautifully colored fall leaves are floating down from the tops of maple trees everywhere
making it like a fairy land of golden, orange and red floating to the ground
landing almost silently in the deep bed of leaves already there.
we had our first real killing frost today...
29 degrees...

my friend who got crushed in the construction accident is doing well
way better than expected
whew!
we are helping them move friday as he had sold his house before the accident.
i leave every month for about 4 days to work on volunteer projects far from home...kepping busy, yes?
last nite late i got home again.

just have been in a whirlwind.
so as a peace offering i first hold out a recipe:
banana cream crumble pie with caramel sauce
crust:
2 c walnuts
1/4 c dates
1 tsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp cinn
pinch salt
food processed, press 2/3 into pan and reserved 1/3 of it to crumble on top.
filling:
3 bananas
1/3 c dates packed
pinch salt
1 tsp van
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp psyllium
1/2 tsp tumeric,...
