  1. Cellulite... Asthma... Health

by on 12-05-2009 at 08:55 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
Last night I was sitting in a nice warm tub of Epsom salts and I looked down at my thighs. Lo and behold the cellulite had disappeared!!

I have to say, I refused to go out in public this past summer because of the way my butt and thighs looked. How could this possibly be?

Cellulite is supposedly pockets of fat yet, also can be caused by hormonal imbalances. Actually, from what I've read about it, no one REALLY knows what the deal is here so, how to get rid of it?

  2. You Get What You Focus On

by on 10-25-2009 at 07:43 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
As I've been focusing more and more on getting my Bodacious Living site up and running, and promoting my weight elimination program over the last few months, I've been watching how things have changed for me.

It's true you get what you focus on. My program is not about raw per se although, currently, everyone in it is, or tends toward raw, I do recommend, when people are hungry, that they lean towards more produce. Eliminating the cravings, habits and emotional eating patterns is much ...

by on 10-16-2009 at 08:28 AM (A Little of This; A Little of That)
I was compelled to write this before even going out the door for my walk this morning.

Recently there was a thread on this forum about raw and weight. So many begin eating raw to eliminate excess weight. I keep seeing people talk about exercise to eliminate weight.

Well, I'm here to say, y'all are coming at it from the wrong perspective.

When I first began eating raw about 14 years or so ago, I had no need/desire to eliminate weight. It happened. As a matter ...

... no great awarenesses ~ yet. Day is still young.

Went to bed at 1 this morning; got up at 5; went outside and did bodyweight movement, some kettlebell with 20#'s and some 5# Indian clubs.

Got in about 8,000 steps last evening. GREAT evening for walking. The days have been around 90 degrees and HUMID!

I keep a kettlebell in my bedroom which is across from my office and when I remember, I'll go across and swing a bit.

Tonight, "Tap Into Your Ideal Weight" ...

Keeping it short as I've got a busy day between teleclasses, clients and a speaking engagement this evening.

Yesterday ~ over 15,000 steps which equals about 6 miles; took a hot bath with peppermint/spearmmint/eucalyptus oils for soreness. This morning ~ SORE!

Going to do some body weight training today. Not sure what else ~ clubs, ball, bag... I'll know when I get to it.

I'll probably walk to the produce market and get some more greens. I'm enjoying wraps ...
