  1. Upset stomach, excess acid, nausea

by on 07-02-2008 at 09:42 AM (Emma-Liza's Journal)
Still having the queasies off and on all day, every day. I figure there's no starchy stuff in there to absorb the excess acid I know I produce.

Funny thing, though is that I have absolutely no heartburn. Up until the day I switched to "all" raw (meaning truly as much as possible, not just dabbling a meal here and there) I've been heartburn-free. I had been taking Tums every day for months. 2. Day 1

by on 07-01-2008 at 11:49 PM (Journey to Raediance)
Started the day just 'knowing' that it was Raw Foods Day 1. No sabotaging thoughts or cravings. Later that night I was soaking in one of the hot pools late at night alone, enjoying the zillions of stars and fully embraced staying raw. Kind of rekindled my commitment. The sugar was completely unsatisfying and I felt yucky ...

Whew! made a run to Plattsburg this morning and I just finished mowing the yard.(riding lawn mower) I do have more energy.:) About to lay down and rest.
