    For dinner, my husband wanted to go out and get food from one of my favorite Chinese buffets. It's a cool buffet because they allow you to take out food also. They charge by the pound, and it's actually pretty cheap. I am committed to my green smoothies but this seemed like it was going to be a bigger challenge than I was ready for. I went with him to get the food and everything smelled soooo good. So I allowed myself to look and smell and drool but then not put any of that ick into my body. ...

    I'm at the library using the internet as my modem conked out. I'm so hooked on keeping up with what's going on in our raw blog world that I couldn't let the day go by without checking up on you, and writing a quick note on my day. Should be home making myself dinner. I have a big bottle of water in the car to keep me full until I get home and do some uncooking.

    Day two without coffee. Ankles are not nearly as swollen today. Coincidence?...should know soon. Loving my coffee sub, ...

    I will STAY RAW... despite all the pressure of my family/friends to "eat meat and fix the problem that way" (if they only knew...), I will seek the solution THROUGH RAW... not against it!!

    I agree with Onyx... I can "use" a Dr. to help me diagnose and then, from there, I can find a RAW-based solution.

    I believe in solutions.

    And I believe RAW IS the BEST solution.

  4. 7/6 - 7/7/08 ~Days 79 & 80~Hot Hot Hot!

    Days 79 & 80~

    I have been trying to get in some sort of exercise just about everyday - so far I've actually made it 1 week (I'm counting the yoga class I have to teach tonight)!

    I'm trying to mix it up so I don't get bored - like I did last month when I tried to walk on my treadmill for only 15min. 5 times a week - it felt like an hour!

  5. Day 1 of 7 days of all Green Smoothie!

    I've decided I want to do a full week of nothing but Green Smoothies! Green smoothies have totally clicked with me and I can't get enough of them. So from today through Sunday, I'm only going to have green smoothies. Oh and some juice in the morning. I make some for my husband to drink on his way to work and I always finish his left overs.
