  1. first weekend away

So I've been pretty successfull eating raw at home, but I'm a little nervous about going away for the weekend. I've packed plenty of food to take with me, so all I have to do is stick with what I've got and I will be fine.
Is wine raw? I read somewhere that it was, so I'm bringing wine with me and will stay away from the beer.
Has anyone else noticed that they sleep less now that they are raw? The last couple of weeks I've been waking up really early in the morning and finding that ...

    Here's what I got from Alissa's store:

Nama Shoyu--haven't tasted this yet, but it smells LOVELY, like a really high quality tamari. (Did I ever product review Bragg's Aminos? In a word, "YUCK!" That is all.)

Raw Crunch Bar, Blueberry Flavor--I love these! They taste a lot like Mrs Mayer's Cashew Crunch cubes, a favorite snack of Mr.Liza's and mine, but BETTER because the variety of seeds and nuts give them a rounded-out taste. Happily, they are not very sweet. ...

  3. Friday, July 25-Day 26

    Good Morning!
I am able to navigate through some websites on my computer. This is one so far. I've got to take it to the doc.:) I'm not feeling well today. I need to see the doctor Monday. I have lost 3 more pounds for a total of 15:) Yea! I feel at a comfortable weight now. My clothes are fitting so much better. Of course I'm underweight compared to that silly height-weight chart. Who came up w/that anyway. I'm supposed to weigh anywhere from 145-160. I was miserable when I weighed 152. ...

  4. A SAD Lunch

by on 07-24-2008 at 11:13 PM (Jenifae's Raw Journey)
I just keep giving myself permission to eat SAD food. I went to lunch with Hubby again to a Mexican Restuarant. I love mexican. I ordered a vegetarian tostada with beans (not refried w/lard - just beans), no cheese, corn chips and salsa.
I really did enjoy it though. I remember David Wolfe saying whatever you eat - eat it with love and joy. So, I"m not beating myself up but really aspire and desire to be more disciplined and committed.

For Breakfast though I did good. ...

  5. Day 3

    Let's see:
Day Two wrapped up very nicely. I did have major detox brain fog and a slight headache most of the day. I ate: mango, 1/2 handful of goji berries, fruit smoothie, asian slaw salad, cherries, some raw macaroon (wasn't feeling it) and coconut water.

Today is Day Three. Had another good day. Not too much with detox symptoms except for being a little phlemy and some knee aches and pains. Poor knees - this is the best thing for them- they will be so much happier without ...
