  1. Dad finds Kale!

My Dad just cracks me up. He called me today all excited - He had a Christmas get together in Chicago that was down the street from a International market. They had a sign ....Kale for .79 a bunch..... Dad is not a vegan, is far from raw and had never seen Kale before so he picked up what he thought Kale was for me and hurried home. I did not have the heart to tell him what he picked up was Collard Greens - so guess what I had for dinner ??

  2. I'm hanging in there.........

I wasnt' 100% but, close. I had a soy hot chocolate. Surprised? LOL

I made the best Raw Granola. I got it from Renegade Health. My hubby even liked it. Wow!

I did notice tonight that when I eat 100% raw the food tastes more amazingly juicey and yuummy. But, when I even have a HC (hot chocolate) - raw food tastes different. So, non-raw food deteriates the taste buds. That is my calculations! WOW - huh?

I feel the urge to go 100%, finally. I wondered when that would happen again. I thought I was ready at the beginning of November, but then went out of town for three weeks and could not stay raw. All that sight-seeing and being in a new place with new foods and not knowing where hfs and restaurants were made it difficult to stay raw. Since I've been back, I've been pretty high raw and sometimes all raw on some days.

I find this feeling, this being impressed upon by the feelings of

  4. Friday - blog

Today Dad wanted to go out to Costco so off we went into the cold, he wanted to get a serving type dish that he has had his eye on for sometime now. I was happy that my organic raspberries were back for less than $4.00 for a large shell so I bought 2 along with some other odds and ends.

I bought a little space heater for the family room - it has different settings on it so I am thinking if I can find a comfortable setting using that it will keep the gas bill down. I would rather ...

  5. Cooked Feelngs

by on 12-12-2008 at 02:15 PM (Metamorphosis)
I'm having a lot of thoughts about cooked foods, I don't indulge, but they keep popping up. It's everything from toast, to fast food, to steamed squash, and boiled beets. What's that about? Is it the weather? Is it because of the holidays? Is it my mood? Am I getting so clean that the toxins left in my body are making a last gasp for control? Whatever is causing the cooked feelings, the result is I'm looking for something new to make on an almost daily basis. I'm still doing a daily green ...
