    Today was the sixth luncheon in a series of seven being put on by Bastyr University and Graham Kerr. The topic was about making lifestyle changes to avoid the need for pharmaceuticals. OR, how to avoid taking extensive drug cocktails for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc, etc. and all the other drugs needed to counteract the side effects of those drugs.   2. Day 2 of GS Fast/Feast

    Okay, I'm confused.
    My friend that I'm doing this with says that the 80/10/10 diet is the best way and that it cures candida and hypoglycemia.
    But, I'm not sure because, I am doing only GS's and fruit in between and I have headaches (okay maybe detoxing?) but, my stomach is bloated and I'm getting a Yeast Infection.
    Not sure what to do. Does anyone know anything about this?

  3. Repeat smoothie for on the go...

    Hi everyone!!!

    I went to Whole Foods today and got some Soft Kale!!! FINALLY, I found a different Kale!!! I'm gonna try it in a Smoothie tomorrow to see if the taste is different. Today I had a bunch to do, so I just made a Smoothie with Spinach and Banana to take on the go! I'm gonna keep going with the 70 List of Smoothies tomorrow.

  4. First day back at work after 2 weeks off!

    I have been raw and working before. Just requires a little planning. Today I got the hungries around 3:00 pm and was without a backup plan. Some tea got me through it. And lots of water. Need to stock my drawer with some good stuff to get me through the afternoon.

  5. nutless

    I have been trying to eat lighter, simpler meals for 4 days now. So far it is going really well! I had been eating way too many nuts, seeds, bars, & grawnolas, and they were not making me feel well. Funny how even when you don't feel good after eating something, you still want to eat more of it. I don't know why this happens, but it does.
