    my plan for optimum health because optimum health is part of achieving an optimum experience of life.

    -eat raw as much as possible. and don't fall into an all or nothing approach. if i happen to not eat raw, make it something decent like brown rice, beans, cooked veggies, tofu, etc. not pizza, white bread, ice cream, or fried food, etc.

    -really delve deeper into yoga and meditation. remember to practice it daily, preferably early in he day. this really tunes me into ...

  2. Days 5 and 6, a big blur

    Well, I stayed raw, which wasn't all that hard, considering I was so sick I couldn't really eat much. I slept last night from 12-2, then was in a lot of pain, managed to fall asleep again until 4:00 and finally went and slept in the spare bed, I was writhing in agony, really. Got up at 6:00 finally, and sat on the couch for a while. Then did chores and filled the wood stove. I felt fine at that time.

    Hello RFTers!

    I'm a young california lady here and I adore the ecstatic joy of a clean body/mind/spirit that live foods is helping me open up to. There's been periods of emotional binge eating/severe depression/candida in my life and if you need anyone to talk to about those topics or absolutely anything else please know I that welcome the conversation:) YAY LIFE BABY! ha!

  4. Sharing the juice

    Few days ago at work, 1 of my young co-workers (about 25 yrs old) mentioned that he wanted to go on the "orange juice diet". Now I had heard of the cabbage soup diet, and the grapefruit diet, but wasn't really sure what he meant by "the orange juice diet"...well come to find out, he wanted to figure out a way to have fresh raw OJ everyday. He just moved here and didn't bring much with him, so he has no juicer or blender....actually if anything didn't fit in his backpack then ...

  5. How time flies ...

    when you're not raw! I did make my raw Thanksgiving dinner. And it came out wonderful. The most surprising part being the Alissa's mock turkey. I really only made it, to have all parts of a turkey dinner present, but I NEVER expected it to remotely taste like turkey! But those brazil nuts did the trick! My husband and I were both experiencing the lingering turkey taste in our mouths, plus it did taste really good!

    My favorite part was the stuffing though, I experimented with it, ...
