    So, I added some pics to my raw food kitchen blog and looking over them I wondered how I ever let things go on for so long when I know how to correct everything. I know raw foods are best. I know I thrive on them. I enjoy creating new meals. I love this stuff.

    And I was also not as disappointed when I saw the heavy me (now) verses the thin me (then). Because I know that as I begin again, the weight will melt off, I will become peaceful, happy and full of life...it just takes ...

  2. Raw Recipe of the Day

    Soup
    Requested by Bananna!

    My variation on Ani Phyo's Tomato Basil Bisque
    3 Tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1 cup of water
    Lots of fresh Basil (Chiffonade)

    (her recipe calls for 2 cloves of garlic, but raw garlic always makes me sick Bummer) I also use a lot less water and oil. I want it chunky. She adds salt, but I find I get use to the tastes of everything over time and they taste better to me without.

  3. Starting a new week....

    I am starting it in my favorite place. The Monday Fasting Club. I am doing smoothies because I cannot handle the strong detox. Slowing things down. Its working better for me that way. I have been blending watermelon with lemon. It is so frikkn good. My kids made popcicles with it. yummy. I will post my weight tomorrow. Last monday it was 166.5.

    I had tons of energy again today. I am just waiting for my slap in the face. I haven't had sustained energy since before ...

  4. Green Smoothie kick

    I am on a green smoothie kick now. When I used to try them they were so thick and gross. Now I make them more like a juice and I am sucking them down like crazy. I am alternating between spinach and romain. I am looking to add new greens next week. I guess I am being lazy the vitamix is so easy to clean I don't even want to get out my juicer.

    My energy is still high. The cleansing is working great. There is nothing like a good BM to make you feel satisfied.

  5. Tomorrow

    Tomorrow's plan:
    Breakfast: Raw Smoothie
    Lunch: Huge Green Salad
    Dinner: Celery with avocado dip
    Snacks: raw nuts

    I'm going to try again. Let's see where a simple day of raw leads me. (((hugs)))
