  1. Uuuuuuugh!

    Well, last nite I overate. I'm not sure why I did that. I kinda set myself up. I didn't plan meals I left with healthy snacks of carrots, celery, sunflower seeds and nibbled on that all afternoon and then panicked about not eating a salad by 6pm it ended up being 7:30pm. It was Big on Greens so, I wasn't hungry. What the Heck? I ended up eating Grapes, grapes, and more grapes and a bunch of cinnamon almonds. I had too much for breakfast too. So, the whole day was an eat fest. Haha....lol! ...

    well i did it. i went home and had a smoothie. then i kept myself busy with errands and dishes. i got the tires rotated/balanced, did my taxes, made an appointment for vivi, and went to big lots. they had tom's toothpaste for $2.50 and i got some cruelty-free shampoos and conditioners. i had a little more clarity and motivation to do things. usually i want to come home and take a nap. i didn't have bursts of energy, but at least i got things done. when ...

  3. Thank You Raw

    Yesterday, I was talking to Y. and had a rather fantastic revelation. I turned to him and said: "Overnight, I became a runner!" It's true. I have to say, that right now that is the biggest thank you that I have for raw eating. Deep down I have always loved my body and wanted to be able to do the things that other people do. I have always been jealous of gymnasts and the way that they move through the air like a fish in water.

  4. Just Another Raw Day

    We went to a great birthday party on Saturday night. It was in a bowling alley. We had three lanes and around 15 people bowling. None of us were bowlers so I had no reason to feel embarrassed about the gutter balls. Almost everyone was throwing their share. Dinner was provided by the host/hostess from the extremely sad restaurant in the bowling alley. The pizzas, nachos, and beer that were served had about as much appeal to me as poison. They looked like plastic and cardboard and smelled ...

    i was off raw from nov - feb and gained about 8 pounds. i did high raw for one week and already lost five pounds! it was so hard to make the adjustment after eating cooked vegan all i wanted for 4 months.
    i'm planning on doing high raw for the first 3 weeks of march. then i'm on vacation for a week so i can't make any promises if i go out of town and there are vegan restaurants...but don't really have any plans just yet. and i will be back on in april ...
