  1. Breaking Free

Dear little Jenna...I'm talking to you!

Yes, you, that little shy, sugar-hungry, plump little morsel that is 10 year-old Jenna! You are living inside of me still, yes, it's true. I'm sure you've been here all the time dictating certain things, behaviors, and ways of eating because you are scared. But it's okay. We're skinny now! Your child dreams came true, and now it's time to rest. Remember that image you had in your head from a long, long, long, time ago? The one of your future ...

  2. Beautiful Day!

Not only do I get my longest free time on Wednesday's (it's got a couple of very brief interruptions, but it means I can't go home or disappear for 2 hours) but the weather today was so beautiful. I decided to drive over to fresh City and check out the salad options. I made an enormous salad, really delicious and tasty. by on 03-18-2009 at 12:36 AM (Metamorphosis)
This morning I got up thinking it would be a good day to give my stomach a break and eat mono-meals. And then I followed a link to Sunny's Raw Kitchen which was all about chocolate. Big mistake. My plan for mono-meals ended before breakfast.

One of the ideas on the site was RP brownies made with dried apricots and almonds. It was too early in the day for chocolate so I blended the almonds and turkish apricots in the food processor, then added vanilla extract, lemon juice, maple ...

  5. Wow it has been a little while since I have posted

Well I am still here and still raw just don't have the time for myself much anymore. Dad has been spending more and more time in TX which puts me in the position to run both my household and his. I will be going on this next trip at the end of the week for Spring break for 9 days and am freaking out! I have been doing great in my rawness and my Dad's family really do not eat fruit, veggies or anything really healthy. I have always been the odd ball in the family and am a little worried about ...
