    Good evening. :)
My day wasn't raw, but my evening was. I ate an entire head of romaine lettuce with raw dressing and finished with a handful of dates and raw almonds.

I also exercised and did wonderful things to pamper myself. Like exfoliate my feet and make them smooth and deep condition my hair.

  2. Swapping

I have figured I have about 2 snacks and 2 meals a day..and if I stick to that, I do tend to slowly lose weight rather effortlessly.
I am going to swap out one of the above for a raw meal or snack...well, today I actually did that. :) ...enough cutting other foods out and definately time to fold in foods instead. Today wasn't completely raw but ended really strong. Lots of veggies and a large green salad. I took a walk around the neighborhood and feel great. :)

I purchased some staples. Raw almonds and Medjool dates. I felt these were a very good use of my funds.

I'm finding ways to fit in more and more veggies and fruits. Without spending tons. I'm trying.

Thank you for all the great suggestions.

  5. Calming Down ...keeping to the grind

I was a little mad in my last post!
I already know this, but going raw takes a clear head (focus) and organization (preparedness). Not being prepared totally sets oneself up for failure...even if bulldozing through, lol.

I am not discouraged though....more quickly, I recognize the common obstacles...I saw that I was totally unprepared to go raw and did NOT beat myself up about it.

I am still being mindful...and still making healthier choices more and ...
