  1. Gooood Juice!

by on 04-08-2009 at 12:36 PM (Rawlight's Rawlife)
I juiced celery, a little apple and then threw in a handful of grape tomatoes just now. Oh boy, what a revelation! Those tomatoes were delicious. I laugh at my self sometimes, because I am often a timid experimenter with raw food. When I woke up this morning I thought about apple and celery, which is what I've done in the past and that I threw caution to the wind when I spied the grape tomatoes sitting there and used them without hesitation makes me so happy. I know, a little thing, but in my world, ...

  2. bad food strikes again

For 2 days I ate poorly. I'm not letting it get to me though I'm eating better starting today. 100% raw once again. :)

I tried to make a green juice this morning using the food processor. Just mix the veggies up with water and then strain.

OMG it was gross. I had added cucumber and that was all I could taste. Plus a food processor full of veggies and it made only 1 cup of juice.

I would like to juice but it seems that it's expensive. I can't afford ...

  4. Day 101

It's field trip day! Actually, I sound far more excited than I really am. In fact, I'm not looking forward to this at all. I know I'll be fine but, an hour ride each way on a bumpy yellow school bus does not make me a happy camper. I'll be eating little or nothing before and during the trip to ward off any possibility of an unwelcome bathroom visit, if you know what I mean. I'm taking a couple of bananas and a single bottle of water just as a precaution though. When I get back I have a couple ...

  5. In the Raw Kitchen again......

by on 04-07-2009 at 10:34 PM (Jenifae's Raw Journey)
I have been really being more creative in the kitchen. I have been making all sorts of creations; ice creams, smoothies, cookies, etc. Today, I am making Crusty Cauliflower and Strawberry Pie and Chocolate/Raisen cookies. That cauliflower is so addictive - I've been opening the Dehydrator snacking on them all day. I just cant' leave them alone. And I'm wanting to lose weight? Ha!

Oh well! I made an Almond/Chocolate crust and it's the "D" and with the rest of the 'batter' ...
