  1. Day 107

Oh what a dreary, dreary day it is outside this Tuesday morning. I love dreary days though, there's something so relaxing and introspective about them. :::happy soothing sigh:::

So, my goal today is to finish the laundry, clean DS's bedroom and playroom before he gets home and then spend some time with him once he arrives. I have to say, as much as I love him to bits and pieces, I could do for a few more kid-less days. That's probably not the most mom-itically correct thing to say ...

by on 04-13-2009 at 11:37 PM (Jenifae's Raw Journey)
I woke up feeling hungover from I'm sure the Soy Mocha and the Almonds.

I was also really really HUNGRY today.....maybe because of the above? Anyways, I've pushed through so, far. But, I had a couple of close hours where I don't know how I didn't crack open the sunflower seeds or some nuts. Sheewwwh!

I also got Nauseous this evening. I felt weak, tired, and hungovery all day. I even took a short nap this afternoon. But, by 7pm I was really nauseous and thought it ...

Back on the cleansing program today.

Green Smoothie: banana, orange, strawberries, blueberries, chard, parsley

Fruit Bowl: pineapple, banana, mango, kiwi, orange, with lime juice

Green Smoothie: pears, apple, kale, cilantro

The papaya and fruit bowl made for a lot of extra fruit, but reasonably satisfied the hunger I was feeling. Calling it a good day.

I want to do at least 2 more smoothie and light ...

  4. "It's never too late to be...

who you might have been." That quote is by George Eliot, and I found it engraved into a brass bookmark while in college for the first time in my mid 30s - a single mom of three young teens. I still have that bookmark.

I had wanted to be a teacher since my own mid-teens, but was pursuing a path of psychology instead due to hard knocks in life. I wanted to rescue people who were where I had unhappily been. But it was not to be. The coursework ate my lunch...and I went back ...

  5. Easter Day was Yesterday..........

by on 04-13-2009 at 12:12 PM (Jenifae's Raw Journey)
I'm amazed at how well I did yesterday. I woke up feeling good. I didn't have time to work out as when going to my Son's he is 3 hours away. Needless to say we can't be gone for more then 12 hours. That's why I like when they can come here. Anyhow, a little long winded on just that.
