  1. Days 112 & 113

    Busy day again yesterday and I forgot to post. After church we went to the plant nursery and picked up some veggies. I then spent several hours planting the garden. There are 4 slicing tomato plants, 4 cherry tomatoes, 5 green peppers (for DH... yuck), 1 each yellow, red and orange peppers, 1 jalapeno pepper, 1 eggplant, about 9 green bean bushes, 1 packet of red radishes, 1 packet of watermelon radishes, 1 head purple cabbage and 6 collard sets. I still need to put in 3 roma tomatoes, 2 cukes ...

    Today's choices:

    Juice of 2 grapefruits

    A few pieces of mango and some leaf lettuce, a tomato

    Green Smoothie; leaf lettuce, mizuna, mango

    2 apples, tested the Soylent Green (still in the dehydrator)

    I wanted to share some of the things Victoria Boutenko talked about at the event I went to on April 9.   4. Thought I Could Be a Good Girl...

    Oops!

    So, I think what started this whole darn thing was Thursday night when we went to dinner at Hobee's and I got the "Best Darn Breakfast in Town" instead of the salad bar like I had originally wanted. I didn't have toast, I ate steamed veggies instead. I was proud. But then, Friday night I had chips and salsa. And more chips.

  5. Frustrated and Confused

    I have been thinking since, yesterday afternoon that I would sure like to do a 24-36 hour water fast. I not only want to give my digestive system a little break but, I want to shrink my stomach so, I'm not hungry so often or think that I am. I am really wanting to do this but, have not been able to muster up the umphf, yet.
