  1. 21 day habit plan

    I've heard a million times that it take 21 days to break a habit or to build a new habit. I tried last month to go 21 days without eating nuts (big trigger food for me) but it didn't work out. This month I'm giving it another shot, but I'm making a plan for each day to keep me focused and on track. I do really well when I have goals to achieve because I get really determined.

    The first day of the month always feel like a fresh start to me!! I'm excited to start a new challenge, and get my eating under control.

    Today's food plan:
    tea
    chia pudding (berry tea, stevia, chia seeds, raisins)
    GS (spinach, bananas, pineapple, stevia)
    Dinner: hopefully zuke hummus and pepper slices.

  3. Moving Right Along...

    Things are improving out here in beautiful east TN. My Aunt is able to drive herself around now, which is a huge boon to her sense of independence!! The unhappy soul was going stir-crazy.

    DH and I are actively looking for better jobs, and he wants to drop some serious weight as quickly as possible. He's gained 50 pounds or so this past year and is miserable. So miserable, he's willing to give raw another try. (to get it straight, he's married to me = so he has his own ...

  4. Training Day 6

    Tuesday June 30

    Oh how I love Tuesday's!!! On Monday's Quentin and I lug our bed rolls down to the living room and watch a movie together late into the night. Then on Tuesday's we sleep in nice and late and I never fail to curl back up onto the couch and read a book until the late late morning. Ahhh... did I mention that I love Tuesday's?

  5. I'm missing RAW!!

    I've ventured away...far, far away. Since tomorrow is July 1st, I'm once again looking at the challenge board.....jumping in, not thinking about it, just knowing it's the right thing to do. I'll start blogging my daily foods first thing tomorrow for anyone who is interested.
