  1. Day 8 (time to fast?)

    So I've made it past my first week and have come to several conclusions.
    1) I'm losing no weight - very much likely due to all the "treats" I'm eating.
    2) My energy and positive attitude have gone way up.
    3) I'm not going to weigh myself anymore. I've read that it's negative to weight yourself every day and I seem to have become fixated on that. I'm going to remove the scale from my life and just be happy with who I am and the path I am on.

  2. Day 6 100% raw

    Lost another pound today whoo hoo :)! I didn't think it was going to happen. I get lot's of opinions from people who disapprove of my way of eating. They want to force me to eat what they are eating because they are so uncomfortable. They think I am starving to death. I'm sticking to it no matter what. I was actually so full yesterday from eating 100% raw, I felt a little guilty about being full. It's kind of silly but, the old way of thinking is, I'm on a diet and I have to be in a state ...

  3. 33 days raw

    Well.. I am still going strong. Not too much detox symptoms. At least not obvious ones. I had an ACV drink this morning followed by a green smoothie. I had a raw spaghetti marinara for dinner, followed later by a mango, a grapefruit and an orange. I snacked on some flax crackers throughout the day.. total about 10 crackers. I am a late night eater and I know that I need to to stop that but one thing at a time. Staying raw is my focus at the moment.

  4. Day 3 Continued

    Today was a great day.... I feel great and so full of yummy stuff. My family didn't even say anything today. I let some of my students try the brownies with the pudding icing. They were raving about how good they were. I just wanted to say ITS AVOCADO!!! So fun!
    I got lots of things done today, I even posted about 30 items on Ebay.
    It was a great day! I bought a new wedding book today, so I can imagine what the new me will look like in pretty wedding dresses.

  5. Mon/ Day 8 Continued...

    Foods eaten so far today:

    -tangerine
    -handfull of blueberries
    -smoothie: dandelion greens, pear, banana
    -2 tomatoes
    -lentil sprouts
    -smoothie: kale, banana
    -carrots
    -1/2 a green bell pepper
    -1/2 a cucumber


    Mmm, who would have known that dandelion greens tasted so good? I love trying new things...
