  1. Day 13 Daylight Savings Time

    I don't know if it is due to Daylight Savings, or what, but I am pretty wiped out this week. I have been having to get up really early for work and I am finding that I have just been dragging since Monday. It could be some form of detox too. Not sure which, and I hope it passes soon. I am too tired to write much more today...

  2. Tues/ Day 12

    I have to confess. Last night wasn't very good. I started out with great intentions though. I put tons of broccoli, a handful of cilantro, and some cherry tomatoes in the food processor and blended it all up. I made a really big bowl of it, and I could only force half of it down. Going raw was not meant to be torture. I thought it would taste good, but it didn't. Then I got so discouraged, and just basically sickened by the taste that I helped myself to a (fully cooked) brownie. ...

    So here is what I plan on eating today:
    1. banana-mango pudding (1 banana & 1 mango blended)
    2. 2 whole grapefruits
    3. Spinach salad w/1/2 red pepper w/ 1 tbsp. olive oil & 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    4. Miso Soup recipe from Alissa's book
    5.1 small slice datenut torte
    6. 1 banana
    7. Green lemonade- (kale, romaine lettuce, 1 lemon, 2 fuji apples) through the juicer.

  4. One Hour Down Two to Go!

    Well, one hour of running down, two more to go until I have reached my goal of the week. I love this diet and the energy it gives me, it even seems to be helping the inflamation in my back. It hurts equal to when I take the stupid drugs. Imagine that... raw food works as well as Naproxin (sic) and Tylenol 3 and muscle relaxants. RAW FOOD ROCKS MY UNIVERSE!!!

    Wish My bro could shut his mouth on EVERYTHING I eat... so annoying!

  5. day 11 thru 13 - detoxing all the way

    Hello - I am still raw -- despite my personal feelings of progress !!!

    I have been getting some cold-like symptoms, and along with my menstrual cycle, they have been doing a number on me. Still raw, although I have not had a chance to blog on it--- Had to have some raspberry tea to ease my cramps, and I havent had PMS this bad since college! I think I will fast till noon and have some collard rolls and veggies the rest of the day. Poured some blackstrap molasses into my tea and ...
