    Alright so the temptation of cooked food came a callin last night and I answered..bummer I know...but today is a new day and I am starting fresh...Hopefully fingers crossed all. Today will be a good day. - L

  2. Day 6 my book is here.

    I am still going strong. My hubby says good job, he can see a cahnge.
    My book got here. I can not wait to read it. I sat and watched the whole DVD and I am ready to start it over. I loved it. I cannot wait to make every thing in the book. I love cooking for others and want them to try it all.

  3. Busy life... workouts.. and passing out

    Well I have been so busy for the past 2 weeks, its been challenging to stay 100% raw, but I'd say I've averaged 90-95% raw. I've been all over the place, very tempting places, and have kept my composure. For the most part when I did slip off the raw wagon, for a piece of candy, or some rice at a Sushi place that REFUSED to make rolls without rice, and my friends were making constant comemtary about my disection of the roll so I just ate the freakin thing... Anyway the point of the story, I don't ...

  4. Day Six - I'm feeling pretty good

    Except for some intestinal issues, I'm feeling pretty good. I am shocked at the amount of food that I used to put into my body each day. Not only the quantity, but the poor quality also. I can't believe that I've gone almost a week with no meat, bread, cheese, or sugar. That's HUGE for me - and why I've got so much weight to lose!

    Speaking of weight, that is what keeps me going every day. I've lost 5 pounds - it seems to be melting off. I'm actually a little mad at myself ...

  5. Day 22 - the fridge is clearing

    I was a little overambitious when I started this challenge. I bought sooo much food at the beginning that I had to leave food on the counters ( I hate doing that - i have to have my kitchen a certain way, you know?) and I have been buying more food at least 2x/week to make one of alissa's dishes.

    I have decided to keep it simple for the rest of the month and use what I have. Then for April, I will actually GO by the 4 week plan posted in the book and do the shopping that way, LOL! ...
