    still going!!

    i got a dehydrator for $150 off craigslist. excalibur brand and everything, but it has a big dent in the side. but it works! i made tortillas, and flax bread with caraway seed, and now im making fruit bars. mmmmmmmm!! im so excited now i can make whatever i want!

  2. 11 days Raw and loving it

    Great day. Had an intersting discussion with my son(12). He thinks I am taking away all his choices and depriving him of the food he loves (fried,greasy,meat,cheese on a stick,candy and bread and butter).

    While he is limited on all things not fruit and veggie and no soda or caffine. He eats meat and all things grandparents can spoil with he is not deprived actually overly indulged.

    He now understands that it is a choice mom is making and I expect him to try new things ...

  3. Fell of the wagon

    Well, I had to do a liquid fast for two days before a medical procedure last week. By the time it was over, I was so hungry that I caved to eating raw food. I am on heavy antibiotics right now for an infection and nothing cooked (or raw) tastes good, but for some reason, I really wanted the comfort of warm food. So, now I am getting back to the 100% raw thing again. I will need to start the 30-day challenge again. Right now the meds are just sucking the life out of me and I don't have energy ...

    Breakfast- Miracle Greens, banana
    Mid morning- Carrot, apple, ginger juice, assorted nuts Lunch- Plate of raw cabbage, radishes, tomatoes, green pepper, raw food bar Mid afternoon- grapes, 3 dates
    Dinner- watermelon
    Early evening- 4 small oranges, tomato juice, stalk of celery

    Mid Morning- Banana, Raw food bar- Think Organic Apricot Coconut
    Lunch- Spinach Salad with Radishes, Grape Tomatoes, Green Pepper, Olive Oil and Vinegar
    Mid Afternoon- Small Handful assorted raw nuts, 2 dates
    Dinner- Plate of grapes, Tomato Juice
    Early Evening- Raisins, Pear
