  1. Day 7 - Saturday

    Today is good! Dallas has gotten a cold streak - it was actually flurrying on my way to Yoga - unheard of here... Unfortunately the Easter dress for my little one may have to wait til next week... Oh well!

  2. Day 6 - so busy I forgot to blog!

    Day 6 went well but I was extremely busy. I was surrounded by constant noise as the whole family was home from work/school. For some reason, my senses seem heightened - the lilies are so strong, the kids are so loud, etc... Food wise, the day was good. I ate the usual. At 7 pm, took my 6 yr old son to Starbucks and had a latte and shared a cookie w/ him. Not raw, but necessary b/c we had had a rough day... :) It was a good Mom/Son date! Back to 100% tomorrow.

  3. 1 week 95 % Raw

    Wow, I felt so great this week, super energy, lots of exercise and a good job of getting my smoothies in, a few recipes from Alissa's book, hanging around on the web site alot.

    Last Monday I went to Whole Foods and stocked up on everything, also ordered a bunch of items from Alissa. This is the thing for me, must be prepared!

    1 Sunday, 3/11/2007
    First day 100% raw. Green smoothie for bfast and big salad for dinner with nuts and coconut and dates for dessert/snack. ~227

    2 Monday, 3/12/07
    98% raw, similar food to yesterday but used bottled vegan poppy seed dressing on salad.

    100% raw. Same menu. Made yummy cucumber-avocado dressing with dill and basil. Edema in legs essentially gone. Had beginning of migraine left over from the night, took one Excedrin ...

  5. "thats a trip, fool..."

    this morning i hiked up bill botts hill (where all the diesel horses are in culver city, oil pumps), about an hour.
    i decided ive gotta try to walk every day, a pretty big deal for me as i will have days where i am super active and then the next day i will just loaf around. eventually it adds up to more loafing than activity.
    also someone recommended dandelion tea and lemon water, and i have to say, it makes perfect sense. i was doing the lemon water thing for awhile and it definitely ...
