  1. Day 2

    After yesterdays disaster, today went pretty well. Had melon for the morning, a huge salad for lunch (and very yummy) and a pizza for dinner. Am eating cooked for dinner. Cannot go 100% after just 2 days of trying this. Used gluten, wheat free base as advised.

    Despite this only being day2 have felt really well today and had so much eneergy left over at the end of the day, i sorted the kitchen out. Have also drunk alot of beetroot juice and water.

  2. I just consumed my weight in cashews

    Ugh, now i feel awful. I had a handful of cashews earlier and after lunch I was still hungry. So, I threw about 3 handfuls of same cashews in a baggie and off to carpool - intending to just to snack on a few. Well, I ate them all and I feel bloated and stuffed. This is the first time I've felt that in a long time. Back to the mindless eating of days gone by.

    Learned my lesson! Just because it's raw doesn't mean I have to eat it all, right??? ;)

    Today I had...

    8 ounces of Kale and Celery Juice
    1 scoop Green Powder with water
    5 ounces Orange Juice blended with 2 bananas, 4 strawberries, 1 slice pineapple
    1 litter water
    2 boxes of raisins
    3 frozen bananas
    8 ounces Kale and Celery Juice

    Yea! I feel so proud! I love doing this once I realize how positive I feel when I do.
    As long as its raw, I'll eat it at this point. (obviously not raw potatoes and such). But if ...

  4. Survived my first intense craving for sweets!

    When I got home from work last night - I was hit with a MAJOR craving for something sweet -- which is wierd because I hardly ever crave anything sweet.
    I remembered on the DVD that Alissa made flax seed crackers - put Almond butter on it and then drizzled organic honey over that with some fruit.
    Well, I didn't have any flax seed crackers but I did have celery!! So - I put almond butter on a celery stalk and drizzled a tiny bit of honey over that - and it was very satisfying! And ...

  5. Day 11-CPR trumps Yoga...

    Well, the CPR class went 4 hours, so needless to say I missed my favorite yoga class. Came home and scarfed down a huge delicious salad (baby romaine, spinach, red bell pepper, avocado, raisins YUM, red onion, carrots, olive oil, lime, sea salt, ground black pepper) and a huge glass of water. I was not prepared for 4 hours - had mis-read and thought we'd be there for maybe 2. So I was FAMISHED and literally dying of thirst... But, now I know that it's 30 compresions and 2 breaths.
