  1. Day 4

    Oh my Goodness. Woke up today feeling absolutely awful. My daughter woke me up at 6.30 by smacking me in the face and demanding milk. I had a huge headache and felt so tired.

    THIS MUST BE IT. That detox I have been waiting for.

    I got up and sat on the sofa feeling terribly sorry for myself, half watching my daughter on her playmat and half watching Barney. I felt wretched and thought I couldn't get through the day with my 1 year old, feeling as I did.

  2. Day 13

    I took a long hot bath last night. I was having some 'cleansing' symptoms (I don't say 'detox' because that seems very negative to me, and I don't want to give it that kind of energy) so I did an ayurvedic massage, salt scrub and salt soak. I did alot of reading and writing and had some realizations and thoughts:

  3. Better Today

    It's Day 12 and I am happy today to say my day is better. I am 2 pounds lighter. If I could just get down below my starting point then I know I am starting to make some progress. I am definitely cutting out the nuts, seeds, avocado and dried fruit for now. I enjoy sprouting seeds and I will stick to using them in everything.

  4. tried something new

    well i tried something new today for dinner witch may not be new to anyone else but i had a salad and i used apple cider vinegar witch was pretty good. i would like to know more about this juice fast that everyone is talking about can someone fill me in on it i may would like to try it how many days are u going for?

  5. Day 12 - need to shop!

    Ok, so I'm out of avocadoes, bananas, grapes, strawberries, red bell pepper mejool dates AND cashews - probably because these are my favorite raw treats and I'm being tested by the cooked food devil! Ha... And did I pass?

    NOPE.

    I had a bowl of organic honey nut O's w/ rice milk for breakfast and some sauteed snap peas, broccoli and onion on cooked rice for dinner. I had a big salad for lunch - totally raw, just w/out avo so not very good IMO and my snacks were both ...
