  1. Day 3

    Today I ate:

    8 oz Celery Juice
    1 fuji apple
    baby carrot sticks
    Salad with peppers, tomatoes and zucchini with Annie's honey mustard
    1 package of brown rice crackers (brown rice, safflower oil, salt)

    Tonight I pan to make a big 1/2 raw, 1/2 cooked gluten free, low-fat meal!
    This is going well and its only getting easier as the weather gets nicer.

  2. Day 13 - think I over did the carrots ystrdy

    Aloha everyone! Whew - last night I didn't really eat 'dinner' I had a few strawberries that were just picked - they were juicy and sweet! but I just couldn't really bring myself to eat anything else. I was so stuffed from my celery and carrot binge yesterday! I'm finding a pattern here - I seem to want to eat more food around 3 or 4 pm... then a lot of times - I'm just not hungry for dinner. Which is fine with me.

  3. BWOOOOOOM... my head... Day 3

    so... technical dates first?

    weight: 140.0 (-7.4, -2.6 since yesterday)
    breakfast/lunch: apples
    dinner: I will have a big salad with my beloved sweet red peppers

    last evening/night I head headaches... not only a bit dizzy... no, it was really powerfull... I couldnt do anything...I could not even concentrate to think one single thought... But i think it was not really THAT PAINFULL that I'd cry for mummy;) It was a dull pressure in the had, I felt ...

  4. Here's to a new life

    Today is my 5th day mostly raw. I am at approximately 200lbs at 5'8. That's about what I weighed on this picture at X-mas time. My plan is to chronicle my success with pictures. My craving are changing to vegies, nuts and fruit. Yesterday I had:

    36oz Green Smoothie consisting of soaked flax seeds, 6-8 soaked prunes, red leaf lettuce, cup strawberries, 2 bananas, cup of soaked almonds. I drank green tea with mango and fiber added at lunch. dinner I had a green apple and raw sunflower ...

    It's been a good week! This morning I was kind of craving a coffee to get my day jump started...but as I was getting ready in front of the full-length mirror I saw how great I looked! :) That was enough to make me decide to not have the coffee...Why would I want to place a burden of stress on my body, when it's doing such a great job of cleansing itself?!?

    This weekend is going to include...
