  1. Day 3- part 2

    Eeek! I licked a knife! I was making sunnutbutter and jam rice cakes for the kiddos and I licked the knife! Bad enough I lick a knife in front of the kids, but damn, I'm feasting! Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things I suppose, but makes me realize how mindless my eating/snacking can be if I didn't even think of that. More to ponder...

  2. Day 20 - cholesterol dropped 14 points!

    Well, I got my blood work back today - my prolactin is still high (45) but my cholesterol dropped from 153 to 139. :) Awesome.

    I told the nurse (who called w/ the results) that I gave up meat and she said "ALL meat???" with this shocked voice. Funny.

    It's amazing how we all think we need meat to survive or be healthy.

    I feel good today - woke up at 6:15 (alarm goes off at 6:45) and felt rested and ready to get up. ;) I'm glad it's Friday, ...

  3. Day 5, TGIF

    I am wired again today. I have never felt like this in my life... almost like I am bouncing off the walls. If this keeps up, I am going to have to go to the gym before work to expend some energy! Not that I am complaining about having so much energy, it's just NICE to finally have some.

    I guess it's comparable to when you first start dating someone... that first few months when you are just smiley and excited and can stay up all night talking and then get up early and go to work ...

  5. Day 3

    Wow, day 2 was much easier than day 1. Lyme wasn't as bad yesterday, thankfully, and only some mild stiff/achy type stuff. Had a hard time around 2pm ish really wanting to eat, but it passed. I just have to remember why I am doing this. I want to be well. I was able to do about 96oz. juice yesterday. I have to say, I am worried about the calories. I do not want my body going into starvation mode, and supposedly I will be getting 1500cals which I find very hard to believe based on the math I am ...
