  1. Day 13 - Back On Raw Foods

    Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 - Ok, I woke up with pretty severe stomach cramps this morning and decided I was glad I had chosen to end my fast/cleanse after 3 full days. So, it's back to raw foods for me today. At first it was pretty "iffy." I know everyone says to go with orange juice, but orange juice and I have never really gotten along too well, very acidic for my system.   2. up to my earlobes in detox!

    blahhhh.... my nose is running - my eyes itch... so I just wanted to share my misery!! LOL --- naw - naw -- just lettin you know I didn't fall off the island into the ocean or anything. I'm gunna try to send this before it is intercepted by another Alien! .

    hugs everyone -- but not too close just incase this is actually a cold rather than detox... lots of the girls in hula were sick last week and this week - hmmm... wondering if I caught something .

  3. Day 1: Becoming Raw

    Today I have eaten 2 cans of beans, a banana, and an apple. This week I am only taking out grains, so that is good. I should learn to eat some sprouts, because that's what I'm going to have to binge off of pretty soon. Its pretty hopeless to get over binging by myself, so I just have to teach myself to binge on healthy things. BTW: any cereal or beans is NOT healthy. So yup, I'll probably eat some fruit later or something, buh bye.

  4. I had pasta last night!

    Zucchini pasta! I got my spiral slicer in the mail yesterday. I forgot what brand it was; it came with three separate blades: one for spaghetti sized slices, one for something the size of curly fries and one for round, flat slices.

    I made zucchini pasta with marinara

    Marinara (I don’t measure when making up a recipe)
    Sun dried tomatoes – about 10-15
    1/2 medium tomato or about 10 cherry tomatoes
    basil (fresh)
    2-4 cloves of garlic

  5. my raw update

    Hello.
    I've been on a blogging hiatus. But no worries, doing good on raw.
    To be honest, I am not totally 100% raw lately, but maintaining a high raw
    lifestyle and feeling good. So I am 80-95% raw if that matters. In good spirits.
    I've been rethinking the whole 30 day challenge thing..... I mean,
    I am already "sold" on raw (have done the challenge before and succeeded), and know what it can do for me, so it's more of a lifestyle decision at this point ...
