  2. My first day bloggin'

    Well, this would be my first day going on record as raw. I've been at it for 20 days now. MY 20th day raw! Sounds pretty cool. I've gone through some rough patches with detoxing.... coughing, fever, exhaustion and I still cannot hear in my right ear. Honestly, I think I caught a head cold and it has settled in my ear. But, I'm feeling better. The whole raw thing is kinda becoming second nature. I've moved past the "Let's make every recipe in the book, so I don't notice I'm only eating ...

  3. give me five for day five!

    ok, i am continuing the corny rhyming titles, but it is what works for me! haha
    well, another busy day ahead. my bf will be here on monday (we go pick him and his daughter up at the airport around 5). can't wait to see him, it has been 2 months! LDRS can be hard. this is the first time he is meeting my children and i his daughter. so it will be a week us getting to all know each other. he and i have been together a little over a year.

    can't wait to hit the market tomorrow, ...

    Hey Starfire, so here is how yesterday went.

    Breakfast: banana
    Snack: left over marinated mushrooms, grated carrot and beet root and about a tablespoon of avo (supposed to be my lunch but I could not wait)
    Lunch: raw summer roll
    Snack: one slice of Essene bread dry
    Supper: Nori sheets filled with a mix (shared with my sweetie) of one tomatoe, one avo, 3 large mushrooms. ½ a large papaya for dessert.
    About 45 minutes upper body weights and 40

  5. Raw Goals

    I need to regroup and gather myself and start new raw goals for myself. Over the next few weeks I need to:
    • Eat more green smoothies - at least two per day including spriulna
    • Drink more water - I was really good with that, but I slipped
    • Limit non-fruit sweets to one small treat per day and one large treat (slice of cake) on the weekends.
    • Start sprouting.
