  1. Day 1 of 30 day sept challenge

    Today's September 1st.

    I talked to my husband yesterday and he agreed to do his best to NOT ask me to eat out or pick up food or what not. He already proved himself worthy just a little bit ago by telling his mother no when she asked us to go out to eat.

    So anyway day one:

    Woke up at 7 am. No alarm, just did.
    Had a smoothie of more greens than usual and fruitness.

  2. making excuses..still >:/ ????

    Oh boy!! It was an interesting evening! My bff - her oldest daughter is an amazing actress and she is in this play we went to go see last night. Great show - really enjoyed myself... but lemme back up here.

    first - I haven't seen my bff or the family in about 2 weeks. So we decide to meet up at this thai restaurant b4 the play. (safe for me cuz I can always get Raw veggie spring rolls! ) dh and I get there first - then my bff and her family arrives and the youngest daughter ...

  3. Day 7

    Things have gone well today. With family in town, I've still managed to keep myself together and not eat cooked food. We've been busy, so I've learned how to stay raw without being closely attached to my house.

    I can't believe I've been raw this long. I'm really hooked on the fudge balls, woohoo!

    Anyway, I'm still with it and hoping to continue. My mom did comment that my skin looked like it was glowing.

  4. 15th and 16th day

    All right. I really don't want to blog today, but I have to. I have to be honest.
    So I weighed myself and in two weeks I lost 5 pounds. I got so dissapointed, that fater my son's party I ate his birthday cake... I am fast results culture product, am I not?

    But I am not going to dwell on it and go back to raw now. And no parties for me for a while(they tempt me), and no weighing myself for several months.

  5. day 2 early

    well it is early in day 2 (really day 3 since i started on the 30th)

    i just finished making my first green smoothie in my regular ol' blender.

    yummy! i put 2 large kale leaves in there (i was being conservative out of a small twinge of *fear* haha.) a whole banana, half a mango, half a peach and some water. i threw some agave in there b/c i was paranoid, but actually i am thinking maybe that's not raw? and now that i am drinking it...i don't think i need it anyway...the ...
