  1. hummus turned out yummy

    I made hummus and it turned out tasting almost exactly like the store bought stuff i was used to. I made it with:

    -1 ripe avocado
    -2 tbsp expeller pressed coconut oil
    -1 zucchini
    -garlic to taste
    -lots of cumin
    -like 3 tsp of miso paste
    -few squirts of lemon

    I blended it up in the blender and i took it out and was adding more cumin but it still tasted pretty bland. however, then i remembered i had miso paste and i added a few ...

  2. day 23 and 24

    well, this weekend have been totally spoiling myself with indulging out
    i had my blender of GS here and then in the car on the way to LA, i went up there to hang with a friend on sunday and check out a film at the arclight.

  3. Day 3

    Today is day #3 of my raw food journey. I really got inspired from the Discovery Health show with Dr. Oz and the evolution diet. Then I found this website and really was ready to go for it. Processed foods were making me feel sick and tired and fat.

  4. An unexpected situation

    This was probably what happened last time I tried to go raw, although I wasn't doing 100%. But these things happen to people, more to young people I presume and that's what I am after all. Basically we got some unexpected bills and the budget for the month ran extremely short.

    Meaning I can't really afford to replenish my raw inventory for a couple of weeks. I've got grains, some nuts and seeds left.

  5. 150s

    finally made it into the 150s. Okay, okay-so i'm 159.4-but that's still in the 150s! I lost 9 lbs int he first week and nothing in the second. Now it looks like the scale might be moving again. My goal is to be about 130-135.
    I'm pretty sick today, but footloose and toddler-free so I'm not sure whether it is better to crawl back into bed and watch VB's raw dvds all morning, or go for a walk. It's detox in the form of a chest cold. I can't breathe very well, so exercising does NOT sound appealing ...
