    I was so inspired by everyone online yesterday and it made me feel less alone in this journey. I was all pumped to keep going... then I woke up with the same headache! I know I'm detoxing, but I hate it. I am glad though that I decided to do this before I quit working. It is a pain to get up at 4am and get out the door by 5am, especially with having to get my baby ready and make my morning smoothie (which I try to have ready to blend the night before), but this is so much better then ...

  2. Fasting-day 2

    Yesterday was pretty much a breeze. Stayed busy and drank as much juice as I wanted. I made carrot apple beet with a little OJ. it's pretty good. I woke up feeling much better.

    So WHY is food my enemy? Raw makes me feel better, but fasting makes me feel best. weird.

  3. Day 1 Off and Running

    Today was great. My resolve was really strengthened by the fact that I committed to this challenge. For that I am so grateful that I have finally taken this step! NO EXCUSES!!! I woke up and had to rush to get my (just turned) 13 year old son to the orthodontist to get braces on. That took almost 3 hours but I really enjoyed chatting with the receptionist there, Linda.     Well, fellow rawbies, this is my very first attempt ever at the blogging thing. I'm participating in the October Challenge and look forward to an awesome month ahead. I managed to do pretty well in the September challenge, but I feel like I need to kick it up a notch and include an exercise plan in addition to my raw food plan.
