  1. starting 100 % raw

    This is my first day of the raw diet. I am going to aim for 100% but I'm also keeping the option to add a few hot dishes when necessary ( It gets very cold here in Canada ! )

    Today my weight is 285 and my measurements are chest 50, waist 45, hips 51. My goal is to weigh 138 lbs. and have measurements of 36 - 26 - 36.

    How I'm going to do it :
    - I'm going to aim to eat 100 % raw and only eat cooked vegetables when I really have to have something warm. ( ...

    in this week of rain we are to be experiencing, i just had an hour of sparkling sunshine. :)
    i spent it outside.

    i decided to (as i do every year) dig up one of my most promising tomato plants (one with lots of babies) that would die in the next few days from the frost... and put it in a nice big pot and drag it into the house for fresh organic tomatoes in the sunny room until... whenever it stops producing.
    in the past i got produce till january. and that's amazing

  3. What?!?!?!

    This is unbelievable: I lost six pounds this week! I wasn't prepared for that at all, especially considering my serious slips last week. Stopping to consider that I GAINED BACK three pounds in the middle of last week after my slips, I actually lost a total of nine pounds. I'm now at a (slightly) lower weight than I was after my initial try at raw early this year, during which I lost 15 pounds.

    I can't get over it. I haven't lost that much weight in a week since I was 19 years old. ...
