  1. Time to Fly

I have done a lot of thinking about this.
I am thankful to have found this site and to have "met" all of you here.
HOWEVER, i have to be honest and say that for me, at least right now in my life, I am not so black and white as to think it has to be ALL RAW or NOTHING. When I did and felt my best I was probably eating around 90% raw. Being recovered from an eating disorder I just cannot tell myself that I HAVE to be all raw all the time or else. and I have a hard time telling

  2. powered by smoothie

Today is my weight training day and i wanted to see if i have the energy for it by going all raw without using my usual stack of supplements, which i'm trying to stop because it's not raw and it's too costly with all the organic produce that i'm now buying.

For lunch i had a mixed green salad with avocado, cucumber, radish, cranberries, goji berries, and walnuts. This wasn't enough to feed my big appetite and fast metabolism so i decided to make a smoothie. I couldn't decide what ...

  3. Did this happen to anyone else?

I ate lunch today around noon. I had an apple, a celery stalk and peanut butter. I also had a fruit smoothie. Then I went to class. I came home around 3 and had half an apple and a cup of tea then went back to work. Around 6 I started feeling like crap. Now I have been sick lately (head cold) so it could be that. I was really light headed, I was definitely hungry. I also started feeling like I had cramps, but I am not on my period and I am no where near PMSing. And I am not pregnant, i know ...

  4. I'm back and ready to go

    Well,

I'm back with it again. I find my biggest obstacles with raw foods are meals when I'm at work (they cater for us), using all my food before it goes bad, storage, fighting off occassional cravings, and planning ahead to make my raw meals.

Sometimes, when I'm on a job, I work such long hours that I can't get to the grocery store during normal business hours. When I do have groceries to work with, I'm so exhausted when I get home, I fall straight into bed without ...

  5. SO YUMMY!

    I am so excited.

My dehydrator has been working away. I believe I came up with the perfect raw corn tortillia recipie. It is soft, flexible, makes the most wonderful wrap for soft tacos and more. If you dehydrate it a bit longer makes yummy corn chips that taste real. Its so easy to make, looks like the real thing. My cooked food bf even likes them. That's a rare compliment.

    STILL STAYING RAW!!!

I have ideas for chocolate ...
