  1. So Incredible!!!

    I just made up this new recipie that is out of this world in flavor!

    Cashew Chow Mein

    Peanut Sauce

    1/2 cup peanut butter or cashew butter
    1/2 cup warmwater
    3 Tablespoons Nama Shoyu
    3 Tablespoons Agave
    2 cloves garlic
    2 Tablespoons toasted sesame seed oil
    1/2 inch to 1 inch ginger or to taste
    1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar


    Blend all together.

    Then take one package of Kelp noodles ...

  2. The Year of The Dog

    Scott and I watched the Movie The Year of The Dog tonight. It was so strange. I really liked it but I felt like it made Vegan's look like weirdos. But then again whats new, most people think if you are vegan you are a weirdo anyway I guess. The way people reacted to her really did hit close to home, but she definitely took it to an extreme. Well anyway thats all I will say. I know a lot of you are raw first and vegan second but for those of you who are vegan first raw second or just for anyone ...

    mine is black.)
    today i am loading up on carbs for my newly converting dh
    he wants to be raw but is scared...
    of the fruit/veg only threat. he is a notorious
    'name brand' baby boomer from the cleaver (leave it to beaver) family.

    so in the d i have 2 trays of pizza flax crackers
    1 very heavy tray of rye bagels (alissa's book)
    1 large pizza crust
    1 tray of 4 personal sized pizza crusts

  4. Relaxed but not Rested

    Thank you guys for being so supportive through whatever this that I'm going through. Zaph, thank you SO much for your suggestion about the melatonin. I've decided to stick with it for awhile before I go the benedryl route. What I've discovered is although I still am not sleeping, I am extremely relaxed for a woman who hasn't slept in over a week. And last night, I actually drifted off several times. So at least that was good.

    So the +1 is tomorrow. Why wait?

    Today I had a banana, some unmentionable cooked food, 2 red grapefruits juiced with some rejuvelac and agave, cashews, and my raw power bars.

    Dinner will be a salad or burrito from Matt's book Rawvolution.

    Workout today!:)
    45 minute run with 2 x 20" strides, 2' AR
