  1. Thursday - on the up!

    After yesterday i didn't beat myself up i just got back on the cart and began the diet again.

    I had a great day at work although i got a grilling from the office staff about what i eat and how i don't get hungry, get enough protien and have enough energy!! the typical questions i have to field.

    They were all suitably impressed and asking me about my fav GS recipes (not that ihave a massive repertoir yet) and all are going home to get out the blender.

  2. Fitness Challenge '08

    Here we go. The Fitness Challenge is starting at work on Tuesday. I am getting a head start and starting tomorrow. I may as well have it coincide with my February Raw Challenge. I finally remembered to sign up for a Monthly Raw Challenge before the month began instead of 5 days after. I am stoked about it to.

    How are you doing out there? How is raw life treating you?

  4. Wow! January's Gone!!

    This month has flown by!

    I've been doing really well on my raw diet.

    I'm finding my bullet to be priceless! Lately, I've been getting up in the morning and blending blueberries,water, papaya, banana, honey & flax seed for my breakfast smmothie! YUM!! Some mornings, I'll add coconut oil to it, too...

    My mid day snack has been cherries & my trail mix of almonds, pecans that we picked in Tallahasse, dried (unsulfered) papaya & pineapple bits ...

  5. Sweet Slumber

    I actually got to sleep last night. I slept for about 5 hours and then I was up at about 4:53am. It's better then being up at 2:30 am! I actually felt rested today.

    My strategy:

    Took 4 melatonin 3omins before bed.
    Meditation for 15mins
    Turned off all electronic devices in house.

    I fully intended to take 10mg of melatonin if I work up in the middle of the night but I didn't wake up. I think it took awhile for it to build up in my system. ...
