  1. Choc Hazelnut Pie Photo

    Hello Peeperliciousness's.
    As promised, albeit a day late...but here is a (rather dark) photo of the chocolate hazelnut pie (recipe from I am grateful). My dh gave it two enthusiastic thumbs up, and me..."eh" not so much... didn't even finish one piece.

    But I did like the topping. Sort of reminded me of the flavor of homemade snow ice cream. (not yellow snow ice cream) So we're trying a little experiment with the remaining topping and tossing it into ...

  2. Weekend

    I have had a messy weekend - lots of free time which is great but also bad news for me being a little bored.

    I tried every effort to be good and stayed high raw but sucumbed to a little more non raw that i wanted.

    i hit the supermarket again today for a load of good veg to be 100% raw tomorrow - i am looking forward to a punnet of strawberries to have for breakfast.

    monday marks another week so i can get back in focus and make some more changes. ...

  3. Day 3 of Feburary

    Did really well the last two days. Finishing up some leftovers this morning. Looking forward to really getting into the next couple of weeks. I'm expecting to see some drastic changes now that I'm recording what I eat and documenting each food I put into my mouth.

    Monday starts a big day. We have just returned from vacation and we start back to school. We are behind in piano lessons, so I need to get the girls organized and directed.

  4. Friends

    I had friends over for dinner today. Just a nice time. I got to turn a friend on to raw foods. So, I shared with her my uncook books. And she really got into it. She asked tons of questions. Now she wants to get a blender to make green smoothies.

    It's so nice to have a friend who is into this too! Eliminates the need to socialize over cooked foods. Can't wait for Grezzo to open. Would love to take my friends there so they can experience an uncooked gourmet meal.

  5. Day Two

    So here I am, eating all raw for the second day in a row. I am dedicated to making it through February and Lent. These two days have been tough because I'm tired and cranky from my period (eating SAD during my period made my mood plummet!). But I've been getting a lot of sleep, and I've been exercising, and I know I'll pull out of this funk in a day or two.
