  1. Days 1 and 2

    Started out at 173.5lbs. and picked at fruits and veggies all day long. Day 2 has started out with me feeling huge and bloated. I'm no more hungry than usual though. Looking forward to a day that I don't feel sluggish or tired. Buying more produce tonight. Did my strength exercises but have to get on treadmill later. I have high hopes for my health!

    2:00 Lunch Time

    I hate a cup of peppermint tea
    Two delicious kale tacos filled with walnut taco meat and an incredible salsa.
    1 banana cookie because I am addicted to bananas and cookies

    I feel like giving the salsa recipe, it was so surprisingly good and went so well with the taco meat. Anyway, it was simple but delicious

  4. Glitch In The Matrix

    I have been sailing along since January feeling great, motivated, energized, loving the baby-bottom smoothness of the skin on my cheeks (yay, cucumber juice)......and then yesterday BAM hit a weird low.

    Here's the irony. For the first time since committing to raw I have a FULL refrigerator and pantry. In addition to the 6 Alissa recipes I made on Sunday, I have bins of fresh fruits and veggies and bags of raw nuts and seeds.

  5. I'm too accustomed to clementines.

    I bought a couple of large beautiful oranges yesterday. As I was struggling to peel one this morning I realized that I had been eating way to much clementines. Clementines are easy to peel, they are mess free they peel in two or three pieces. The bite sized wedges fit into your mouth perfectly, the orange I am eating has large wedges that keep shooting my laptop with juice when I take a bite!! I know I am spoiled when I am complaining about an ORANGE being difficult to peel and being so juicy ...
