  1. Day 7

So I got my first week behind me. I feel I did ok but I know I could have done a LOT better. But it's ok, no regrets.........just learning experiences.

Today I did fantastic all day until I got home. I had a lot of fruit all day, no nuts and a huge veggie lunch. Then when I got home I had steamed string beans and a dollop of mashed potatos because that's what DH had with his dinner. It was vegan but cooked, not how I wanted to finish off my first week.

  2. Food Kicks

I have been on food kicks lately. I ate chocolate cheesecake for about 3 weeks. I ate an entire cheesecake one weekend and then that kick was over. After that I had a cheesecake in the freezer for 2 weeks before I even tried a piece.

  3. the cat's out of the bag at work!

I shared my Raw experience with most of my workmates this week. People are starting to notice my weight loss. I had mentioned RAW before to those who asked, but now pretty much everyone knows. I do work with some of the kindest folks and I didn't really expect criticism. (Early childhood teachers are generally loving beings. ) Everyone is very happy that I have found something ...

I needed time to get the supplements I needed and wanted time to get used to a few things. Like drinking 32 oz of water first thing in the morning and adding more greens to my diet. I am not a green person, but I felt if I had a couple of green smoothies a day for the rest of this month that I would be adjusted enough to them ...

  5. New York on raw

I was in New York for a day - seeing new places - i didn't have a chance to do shopping and couldn't see more art - only MoMa ( finally seen Monet, Kandinski, Van Gogh and Chagall -wow!!!) I was absolutely mesmerized by insanity and beauty of Big Apple - i liked it and i want to go again! I didn;t go to raw place but i was impressed by little buffet like stores -fresh lettuce, cut raw veggies and fruits were absolutely great! I had cheap and raw meals the way i liked it. It was easy!
