    I've been up for several hours now and haven't had anything to eat or drink, so I'm on my way to make a fruit smoothie. Mmmmmm!

    My corn chips have been in the dehydrator for 12 hours now so I just flipped them and they'll probably take at least another 5-6 hours until they are done. This is the first time I've made them so they may take longer but I hope not much, because I tried a piece and it tasted good. They're dry but pliable so I need to wait until ...

    My diet is going quite well. Today is day 5 of my second 30 trail. My first 30 day trail I hate raw meat and dairy along with raw fruit, vegetables, and nuts. This trail I'm dropping all meat and dairy products. I'm concentrating on fruits and vegetables with very few nuts. I'm shooting for a high carb, low protein, and low fat raw vegan diet. I am aiming to achieve 93% raw. I eat 6 meals a day for a weeking total of 42 meals. Out of those 42 meals I eat out for 3 of those meals with other people ...

  3. Spending the day with my sweetie

    My husband and I had a fun day today. We went out to eat and I was in veggie heaven. Yummy food! My husband was in Mac and Cheese heaven I hate that stuff! ICK! He could eat it every day of the week.

    Then we went to Sam's Club and loaded up on groceries, lots of fruit and vegetables. Plus I got raspberry, blueberry, Blackberry, strawberry, asparagus, shallot, and garlic plants/bulbs to plant in my yard. I'm so excited. Now I have to wait for the right time to ...

  4. I'm in the Green Smoothie World

    I've been workin' on my grren smoothies...So far, I'm averaging 2 out of 3 good green smoothies!

    I'm trying to have one a day or at least one when I'm not having a salad that day....

    I had the great idea to blend up a salad one day to see how it would taste.
    I figured that if everything tasted good in a salad, it would taste just as good smoothified...WRONG!! YUCK!! NEVER AGAIN!! So much for my smoothie imagination!

    Here I am, looking forward to jotting down my thoughts and plugging along on this raw journey.

    I've been raw, off and on now since April of last year and have had some incredible up and downs. I came to raw with a history of terrible eating habits and a really terrible self image.
