  2. Day Four

    Well, today is day four. Day 2 and 3 found me incredibly hungry. I figured I'd better limit my bananas and dry apricots and stick to lower glycemic index fruit like canteloupe and berries, and see if that makes a difference. Bananas are just so darn addicting! ;)

    Today is St. Patty's day and there will be no corned beef like usual. My dh bought me a book: The complete book of raw food while he was at the bookstore yesterday. Pretty sweet. Maybe I can find something in there ...

  3. YES!!!

    Finally there are signs of Spring, even here in dreary cold and wet Québec. I am so happy. I can feel the pulse and the underlying energies starting to beat stronger every day. I too plan on growing stronger each day. My back is feeling a little rough right now, but I think that is more due to the fact that I fell on it, twice, while ice skating. Other than that I feel pretty good. I am still waiting for the «boost» of energy, however I certainly feel more energized in some ways, way more than ever ...

  4. My last hoorah!

    My husband and I went shopping for the items on the Essentials and Week One lists today. Then I had him take me to my favorite, hole-n-the-wall Mexican restaurant for Nopales and Sopes. Mmmmm. I followed that with a dark chocolate Dove bar. Soon, eating like this will seem like eating garbage to me, but not yet!

    I can't wait for tomorrow. I bought a lot of stuff! I wanted to make sure I would be well prepared. Failing is not an option. This is more than a diet for me. This ...

  5. life is not just about food

    Well today was pretty good.
    I ate a good smoothie for bfast and a couple oranges for lunch.
    dinner was SAD, but tasty and not excessive.

    i am learning to play the drums. have been taking lessons for about 1 1/2 years. Last week I found a band I can play with --- cause i haven't played with other humans yet. YIKES.

    i can practice with them starting tomorrow and am VERY nervous but excited.
